How have we made it to the middle of April already? Time is flying!
It's National Library Week. We are so lucky to have such wonderful library systems in our area. There are endless resources and programs available for everyone of all ages. The library has been such an important part of my family's life for as long as I can remember. As a child, my mom took us to the library each week and we were each allowed to choose our own books. We always enjoyed those trips. As I got older, I volunteered as a teen for the Summer Reading Program. It was a lot of fun and seeing the library from a different perspective was eye opening. Once I became a parent, I took my kids to as many library programs as possible and we were always checking out books. My kids are growing up and now ask to go to the library or place holds on books they are interested in on their own. I'm so glad we have this great resource available right here in our community. Thank you to all of the librarians!
