I don’t remember many of the gifts I received for Christmas as a child. Sure, there are a handful of presents that I’ll remember forever, but it’s really the family experiences that stay at the forefront of my memory year after year. So when I heard about Enchant Christmas, I knew it would be the perfect opportunity to recreate the same kind of holiday memories with my own family.
It turned out to be everything I hoped for and more!

We had so much fun finding our way through “The Great Search” to spot all 9 of Santa’s reindeer. I absolutely loved the excitement on my kid’s faces each time we discovered a new reindeer to cross off our list. I felt like a kid again, hopping, dancing, and singing along with the kids inside a real-life winter wonderland surrounded by thousands of lights.

With hanging mistletoe, light tunnels and Christmas trees galore, there seemed to be a new surprise waiting around every corner. My personal favorite was the interactive walkway that lit up with every step. We were even lucky enough to witness a marriage proposal underneath a larger-than-life sparkling diamond ring! It doesn’t get more magical than that!
Once we completed our mission, we headed over to the holiday market for fresh cider, popcorn and s’mores just in time to see Mickey’s Christmas Carol at the Enchant Christmas Cinema.

I couldn’t ask for a better way to make a new holiday memory with my family. One that we will certainly remember forever. Mission accomplished!
I have been to plenty of holiday light displays and this one definitely takes the cake! My only regret is not planning out time to go ice skating along the trail. But hopefully, if we’re lucky, Enchant Christmas will return to DC next year for another great experience and opportunity to make even more memories along the ice. Fingers crossed!
