A Note From Your Publisher

By Reasa Oliver November 21, 2019

I hope your week has been happy and healthy so far. I spent the better part of my week tending to a sick 4-year old. Since Monday afternoon, my poor little girl has been battling a serious head cold with lots of congestion, headaches and a sore throat. The worst part about it is there's not much I can do to help her get over her discomfort. So besides yesterday's impromptu doctor's visit, we'll just have to wait it out.

The funny thing is although I have been "stuck" in the house for the past few days, I realize I needed the break. Sleeping in and chilling on the couch is not something I do very often and definitely not something I normally do for days on end. But when you have a sick child, you put everything on hold so she can crawl up on your lap to watch a movie.

Even with a bit of cabin fever, I do surprisingly feel a sense of renewed energy. That's great news for me because I have big plans for December's events calendar, which is almost full. My only hope is that no one else in the family gets sick (crosses fingers). So if you'll excuse me, I need to pop another dose of Airborne and break out the Clorox Wipes.

Enjoy the rest of your week,
