A Note From Your Publisher

By Reasa Oliver May 23, 2019

Whew! This week has been full of highs and lows. I’m pretty all over the place today, so let me apologize for the following rant/update. Ready for my random thoughts? Here it goes.

My mom is visiting from out of town. She’ll be staying with me through Memorial Day and the kids are soooo excited that Grammy is staying with us. She hardly ever comes to visit and we have had a great time, riding around town and just spending quality time together.

Yesterday, I learned that my uncle died. It was sudden and I am completely saddened. We’re still waiting to hear about arrangements and honestly, I’m still at a loss for words. Please keep my family in your thoughts.

On a lighter note, my husband was offered a new job doing what he loves. Same company, different project, starting in June. We got the news today, so that definitely helps to take the damper out of my day. It also helps that we made a trip to the Dutch Market to pick up his favorite cake to celebrate. The smell of that bakery is enough to put a smile on anyone’s face.

That’s it for now. I hope your week has been a lot less of an emotional rollercoaster than mine. I’m sure you’re busy planning for summer break and Memorial Day celebrations. Have a great weekend, and never forget to cherish the ones you love.

Happy early Memorial Day
